Tim woke up M first to eat her breakfast while Makenzie and N leisurely pried their little eyes open. Got myself showered and dressed, fixed the girls' hair and got everyone's school stuff put together while Makenzie ate her breakfast.
Let the dog out, fed her and locked her in her jail for the day.
I got N to the elementary school right on time. Not too early (where we had to wait in the parking lot for the school to open) and not too late (where the line of cars extends halfway to Houston). I scooted him across the crosswalk in the parking lot and on his way to the cafeteria for breakfast at 7:31am.
Made it to Makenzie's daycare at the right time, disembarked her and got her settled with NOT A TEAR SHED. So what that I had to bribe her with bubble gum after I pick her up. Whatever works right?
Screached into the parking lot at work at 7:58 and through the front door at 8am on the nose with my obligatory dessert (homemade at 10:30 last night, I might add) for Food Friday in hand!
