It's about a 10 hour trip and Makenzie did very well, all things considering. July 4th we got up bright and early and loaded up Tim, Makenzie, me, Becky, Kelly, Kylie, Kenley and Cooper and headed to Branson for a day of fun at Silver Dollar City. The kids and the adults all had a blast as we spent 8 1/2 hours riding rides before we headed back to Joplin.See the slideshow above for pics because I can't make it work....
Saturday the 5th, we celebrated Becky's 60th birthday with a party at the barn, complete with karaoke, fireworks, booze of course, and fried chicken at 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Tim made breakfast for all the folks with hangovers that had crashed at Becky and Ron's house and we spent the rest of the day cleaning up and resting. We headed home Monday and began a new week!
