( Birthday girl - Catherine)I was optimistic that she might actually ride the horses since the person she loves most in the world would be there (Kyleigh, a little neighbor girl).
(Kyleigh holding Makenzie and waiting for their turn.)Kyleigh's mom and I thought that perhaps the girls could ride together so that Makenzie wouldn't be afraid, but it seems that was against the rules. Makenzie had a meltdown at the mere mention of her mounting a horse by herself, or even petting the horse for that matter. She did however, find a kitty cat to pet and she really enjoyed the hayride.
I'm sure her Papa is looking down from heaven wishing he could teach his little girl how to appreciate a good horse!
