In the Blink of an Eye....

In the blink of an eye, a toddler can get herself into more trouble than you could ever guess.....

Yesterday, in the time it took for me to walk from the office to the bathroom and back to the office, Makenzie had colored ALL over her face and hands with a yellow highlighter, purple pen and green marker and she had emptied almost an entire roll of scrapbooking tape into a huge wad of stickiness. Man, I wish I hadn't been so caught up in my frustration that I forgot to whip out the camera and get a picture or two.

Also yesterday, in the time it took for Tim to climb the ladder to the attic and turn around to look down, Makenzie had also scaled the ladder and was standing right behind him!

And also yesterday, in the time it took for me to close the bathroom door and get nice and comfy on the toilet seat, Makenzie had gone to the laundry room and pulled down a giant Sam's sized bottle of Shout! on top of her pretty little head from a shelf at least 6 feet up on the laundry room wall (don't worry, she's okay).
