Tim and I had a date night last night for the first time since New Year's. Granny and Nanny took care of the munchkin for a whole 4 1/2 hours! We had a double date with some friends. We had dinner at Outback (eh, it was okay) and then we went to see IronMan at the movies. I really thought this was going to be another one of those movies that I just tag along to like a nice wife, but I really enjoyed it. We actually had to wait in line to get in, but once it finally started I thought it was really good. I couldn't envision Robert Downey Jr. as a superhero, but he played the part well and it was written to suit him. There were quite a few kids in the audience, and other than 1 "sexy" scene at the beginning, it was pretty kid-friendly (as long as you don't mind the violence). Hopefully it won't be another 4 months before we get to have some "mommy-daddy" time!
