Poor Taylor! Makenzie became her shadow and would not let her out of her sight!

We had planned to go to Schlitterbahn in Kansas City, but we got rained out so we went bowling instead. Daddy helped Makenzie pick her ball.

Swim Lessons Week 1

Makenzie has been taking swim lessons. She has had 4 lessons and has made so much progress. She will put her face in and her ears in and even go under all the way to reach a ring. She is even jumping in from the side now! I loved (and still love) the water as a kid and she was so fearful before this. I wanted someone else to teach her so she would hopefully be more open to doing those things once she saw others doing it. We'll see what week 2 brings!

Our Newest Addition

Tim's aunt breeds mini Schnauzers and we are the latest suckers! His name is Magnus and he and Makenzie fell in love at first sight. I know she'll remember this for the rest of her life because I remember the first puppy that my daddy brought home to me.

We took one day this week to travel down to the Houston Zoo. It was HOT but Makenzie enjoyed seeing all the critters!
