May memories

For Mother's Day, Nanny came with us to eat at Lupe Tortilla and then spend some time visiting.
10 year anniversary--Granny and Pepaw came to babysit so Mom and Dad could have brunch at Christopher's and enjoy a movie.
Cute baby!

6 months old

You are eating fruits and veggies, but still gag at the first taste of meats. You are sitting up, but don't like to be left there without someone engaging you in conversation. You are drooling like crazy and still refluxing alot. You are right in the middle of your sisters size-wise--smaller than Stormie, but bigger than Makenzie was. You are sleeping mostly all night--maybe waking up here or there, but not requiring a bottle. You only take a paci at bedtime too.

Birthday Girl

Every year, we give Makenzie the choice of having a party for her birthday or taking a special trip of some kind. Some years she chooses a party and several years in between she has chosen a trip here or there. This year, she chose a trip without her sisters....just Mom, Dad, Granny and Pepaw. We let her "play hookie" from school for the day and we went to Houston to the American Girl Doll store. She got a $150 budget and was able to pick out whatever she wanted from the store. She choose several really cute outfits for her doll.

She took a ride on the carousel.

We went to The Aquarium for a special lunch.

We came back to town and visited Nanny in the hospital.

Daddy got suckered into buying a flat iron at the mall, so when we got home, we practiced
