Makenzie turns 7!

This year, Makenzie's choice for her birthday was to forego a party and take a trip to Great Wolf instead!

 

 

Her actual birthday fell on a school day, so of course we celebrated with cupcakes in the classroom!

Scary Moments

A couple of days after my birthday, and just a few days after making public our pregnancy, we had a very scary few days. I went to work as normal and began having cramps. I called my OB who advised me to go home, rest and hydrate. I got home, and by mid afternoon,I felt okay so I got up to take a warm bath. After that, I started cramping again and had some spotting. I paged my OB who gave me the same instructions again and told me to call in the morning if it wasn't better. That was the longest night of our lives, and we both shed many tears and said many prayers. By morning, the bleeding was heavier and we were convinced we were losing another pregnancy. We arrived to the OB office with heavy hearts, but God showed us that our faith was being truly tested....baby girl was alive and kicking in there! I did however have a subchorionic hemorrhage and was placed on a week of bed rest.

Announcement!

After our heartbreaking miscarriage last August, we are ecstatic to announce we are once again pregnant and can't wait to welcome our baby GIRL some time in September!
