Tim hadn't ever been to the Ren Fest, so we spent one afternoon there this weekend. The weather was very pleasant and it was a nice outing for Thanksgiving weekend!

Thankful Days 28-30

I am thankful for:

~The opportunity to catch up with family that I haven't seen in quite a while.
~A husband who is willing to watch a chick flick with me and actually act like he enjoyed it.
~A Monday morning that wasn't nearly as hectic as I was afraid it would be.

I am thankful for safe travel for my nephew, a yummy thanksgiving feast with family and a fun family outing today!

I am thankful that today is basically Thursday for this work week and that I got to spend my lunch hour with my husband!

I am thankful for a restful weekend with nothing to do and a nice dinner with Tim and Makenzie.

Today I am thankful that we all got to work/school safely. I passed by an accident on the loop and I am thankful we were not part of it!

Thankful

In honor of Thanksgiving this month, I am going to start posting 1 item per day that I am thankful for. Since today is day 11, I’ll do a list for today’s post of the first 11 things I am thankful for:
1. No matter what, God loves me and my soul is saved!
2. I have a wonderful, fun, and supportive husband who still makes me weak in the knees when I see him across the room.
3. I also have a beautiful, spunky, smart and loving little girl who brightens each and every day.
4. For right now (as in, this very moment), we’re all healthy.
5. In 8 weeks from today, I get to set off on a path towards making one of my biggest dreams come true.
6. For right now, we have good jobs that pay our bills, put a roof over our heads, put clothes on our backs and put food on our table (I won’t mention the fact that I am having to quit a perfectly good job and totally trust God to provide for us for the next 15 months after January 8th.)
7. I have money set aside for Christmas gifts this year and I have a pretty good idea of what everyone is getting!
8. The carnival will still be here this weekend so my child won’t hate me forever because we didn’t have any cash to let her ride the rides last weekend.
9. The weather is very lovely this week and I am enjoying walks in the evenings with my hubby and little girl.
10. Tomorrow is Thursday….which is one day away from Friday!
11. Because of very brave men and women (including my husband, father and grandfathers) who have served, currently serve or will serve in our nation’s military, I live in a free country. Happy Veteran’s Day!
